"We live in a time where more and more employees are reviewing their work lives." That’s how Kasper Skovgaard Pedersen begins the video below, where Finansforbundet in Nordea invites to its Annual General Meeting on 25 March.

Nordea is experiencing a challenging labour market, where more employees are resigning and recruitment is more difficult.

This further increases the work pressure on the remaining employees. In the video, Louise Naur lists some of the reasons:

“There have been stricter requirements from the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority, which leads to more complex working procedures. Employees are experiencing increased targets from management. Several positions will not be re-filled, but closed down. Customers make greater demands on speed, and there are many vacancies.”

More important than ever

The work pressure and lack of staff makes it more important than ever to maintain and develop our knowledge and skills.

"But how can Nordea support a development where it becomes natural to develop employees towards the next job in Nordea?", Ole Lund Jensen asks in the video.
